Services for the Black Diamond Fire Department are provided by Mountain View Fire and Rescue. Career firefighter/EMTs staff Station 98 located near Lake Sawyer along with volunteers. The downtown station (Sta. 99) is all volunteer. All Black Diamond Fire Department employees and volunteers are employees or volunteers of Mountain View Fire and Rescue. Mountain View and Black Diamond Fire are run as one organization. We continuously accept applications for volunteer firefighters. Firefighter recruit academy's are run twice annually in the Spring and late Fall. Applications are held and processed prior to the beginning of each academy.
